Carotenoids are known to protect against cancer and other diseases. The best scientists in the US Department of Agriculture, has been conducting a research for over three decades, on the the association between eating green vegetables and the risk of cancer. Results of their studies showed that a certain variety of cabbage called “kale” — had the highest concentrations of carotenoids.

Another sources of carotenoids are green beans and broccoli, but they do not contain high levels of carotenoids, as that found in “kale” and other greener vegetables. So, what are you waiting for, grab that kale now and experience green vegetables power!
