Pinoy Creamy Halo-halo Delight

Halo-halo was derived from the Filipino word halò or mix.  Halo-halo is one of the most popular among Filipino desserts, all year round. This recipe is a mixture of  milk, various boiled sweet beans and fruits, shaved ice, with ice cream on top. This recipe is best served especially during summer season.  You may use condensed milk or evaporated milk, whatever you prefer.

Pinoy Creamy Halo Halo Ingredients:

2 cups sweetened garbanzos, drained
1 cup sweetened beans, drained
1 cup red kaong, drained
1 cup green nata de coco, drained
1 cup sweetened macapuno
1 250ml All Purpose Cream
Halayang ube
Cornflakes
Icecream

Pinoy Creamy Halo Halo Mixing Instruction

1. Combine, garbanzos, beans, kaong, nata de coco and macapuno in a bowl. Toss with All Purpose Cream.
2. Set aside to cool in the refrigerator.
3. To assemble, arrange on a salad bowl or a serving plate.
4. Top with one or two scoops of icecream, halayang ube and ccornflakes before serving if desired.
