Today, I will share to you some “Glass Cleaning Tips” – simple ways to keep your glass, mirrors, windows, glass tables, etc., clean and clear.
Usually, before I plan cleaning glass, I prepare a pail of filled with 2 -3 liters of water, and drop 3 tsp of vinegar. The ratio is 1 tsp per liter of water. Mix it well.
Get a microfiber cloth and wipe the glasses, mirrors, glass windows, glass doors, glass tables, etc. with the cloth damped with water-vinegar mixture. You will notice that it cleans really well, and makes all glasses clean and clear, free from dusts and dirt.
Or to make things easier, you can fill your spray bottle with the mixture, thn spray into the surface, and wipe with clean cloth.
Another glass cleaning material that I use to wipe glass doors, windows and tables is used newspaper. You just damp it with pure water, then crumple it and wipe to the glass surface.
You don’t need to buy those cleaning powders and liquids or spend too much on cleaning glass. You can just use what you have at home. Big savings and easy on the budget for wise moms like us!

To all green thumb moms, dads or gardening hobbyist out there, let me share my simple yet effective “Home Made Fertilizers for Your Plants and Orchids.”
Use rice washing to water your plants. If you eat rice, you can relate to this. Aside from the fact that you can save water, your plants and orchids can also benefit from its fertilizing effect. I don’t know what is it in rice washings that makes the plants healthier, but it sure does work for me!
Another is using the water that you used in washing fish. But since it’s a bit smelly, you can dilute it with more water and use it to spray or water your other flowering plants. You will notice a big difference from the previous state of your plants when you have not used this fertilizing technique yet. With the fish washing sprayed on, Orchids bloom and become healthier, their leaves become green, and the are are more flowers .
For the rest of your plants, you can use the vegetable and fruit skin peeling, like that of potato, carrots, etc., as fertilizers. But first you need to have it decomposed, to dig a small hole in the soil and bury the vegetable cuttings and skin peelings. When decomposed, they are the best organic fertilizers that you can use for your plants.
I would like to share a few tips that a pediatrician advised on how to keep your baby’s tummy healthy.
The first thing to consider is Proper Sanitation. You should sterilize baby bottles properly. Use clean water preferably sterilized or boiled water. Always keep the food preparation area and utensils clean.
Teach your baby Proper Eating Habits. Avoid overfeeding your baby and letting him/her feed too quickly. Keep their hands and teething toys clean, especially with older babies.
Last but not the least, choice the proper food to feed you baby, especially for young babies, avoid feeding allergy-causing food such as eggs, chicken, seafood, and food with preservatives. Check your family history for allergies. For breast-feeding mothers, be sure the medicines you’re taking are safe for your baby. Avoid allergy-causing food.
Check labels of baby food products (look out for preservatives). I you could, try giving your child homemade baby food rather than feeding them with ready to eat baby food.

Right Time To Give Vitamins, is there such? If so, when is the best time to give your child vitamins? Actually, when it comes to infants and young kids, there is no specific time to give them vitamins. Vitamins can be absorbed just as effectively whether taken in the morning or in the evening. Besides, babies sleep at daytime or nighttime, and they utilize their nutrients whether asleep or awake.
A full-term infant who is breast-fed (or even formula fed for that matter) normally does not need any additional vitamins, save for Vitamin D, iron or flouride. Breast milk contains all the needed nutrients the infant (up to six months old) needs. Formula milk is also loaded with vitamins and minerals, but still nothing beats the natural breast milk that helps strengthen a child’s immune system to fight gainst diseases.
Mother and Daughter Relationship is strengthened by trust and being open to each other. I have proven this through the years. My daughters have been very close to me ever since they were young. I wanted them to be as open as possible about how they feel, so if any problem arises, they wouldn’t hesitate to approach me for help or advice.
In some families, mothers are usually closer to their sons, while daughters are closer to their dads. In our family, there is no such thing. I am also close to my sons the way I am close to my daughters, and same with their dad. But boys and girls are different in every way. Girls are more emotional, and they need affection, they want someone to share their secrets with, and someone to listen to whatever they ask. They also feel comfortable in the presence of other girls, women, most especially their mothers.
Every mom has a vital role in the character development of every growing girl. Those girls who lack self-confidence are those whose parents, most especially their mothers, were never there to support them every step of the way. An encouragment from a mother always boosts the confidence of your little girls. And when they grow up and start to have their own family, they would always carry with them the values you have instilled in them since they were young, and become good mothers to their kids.
Among the most charming pictures that hang on the memory’s wall of most grown-ups are those in connection with their childhood pets. That’s why I’m of the opinion that all kids should be allowed to keep pets, unless there’s a serious medical problem, or other serious reasons why your kids or little boys can’t have pets. Having pets is an important part of their growing-up process.
If you’re observant of human and animal relationships, it won’t be long before you’ll come to the conclusion that there’s mystic kinship between a boy and his dog, a sharing of affection and confidence that’s unique. A boy’s dog is his best pal, his playmate, his closest friend, his comforter when tears come, and his most attentive listener to whispered secrets.
“At the price of a dog tag and a bowl of food each day.” “A pup is the biggest bargain in any kid’s life.”

Wise Mom Says, “The Greener The Better!” Yes, that is true! The greener the vegetable is, the higher its chlorophyll level — which means, higher levels of the pigments known as carotenoids.
Carotenoids are known to protect against cancer and other diseases. The best scientists in the US Department of Agriculture, has been conducting a research for over three decades, on the the association between eating green vegetables and the risk of cancer. Results of their studies showed that a certain variety of cabbage called “kale” — had the highest concentrations of carotenoids.
Another sources of carotenoids are green beans and broccoli, but they do not contain high levels of carotenoids, as that found in “kale” and other greener vegetables. So, what are you waiting for, grab that kale now and experience green vegetables power!

anthurium
One of my favorite flowering plants are Anthuriums, because it takes a long time for them to wither, and they come in different colors. The most common of them are the red coral Anthuriums.
The very first Anthurium plant I had, was a gift from a friend. Anthuriums are one of those not-so-complicated plants that aren’t too delicate and are easy to take care of. However, if you want to improve their growth, there are a few things that you need to know about them.
Anthuriums are plants that require high humidity and above-average amount of water. Watering frequency depends on the condition of the climate in your place, the nature of soil, and the degree of shading.
You may plan Anthuriums in places where there is a balance of sunlight and shade. Excessive sunlight might cause bleaching and yellowing of the leaves. Excessive shade, however, may also slow down growth and flowering. Provide your Anthurium plants, shades that are high enough to permit gentle and freely circulating air.
Anthuriums planted in pots are great indoor plant decors, however you have to make sure to take them out and expose to sunlight equally as it is under the shade.

With a normal three-times-a-day meal, we eat 21 times a week, 90 times a month, and 1,095 times a year. With more than a thousand meals a year, moms must have different types of recipes to provide a variety of food appearances and tastes. How then can we turn the old, traditional day-to-day recipes into new and exciting meals? I’ve got a few Wise Mom Tips On Creative Cooking.
You may vary the cuts of fruits and vegetables — flowerettes, butterfly cut, French cut, half moon. Creative slices can be attractive garnishes that add sparkle to food.
Use chips for topping and garnishing. Its crunchiness and crispiness will contrast with the soft and smooth texture of food.
Use green, yellow, red, orange, and purple foods. Remember that visual appeal is equally important. If food does not look appealing, they won’t whet the appetite. Put to work the ideas you see in magazines and cookbooks or those shared by friends.
when it comes to patty recipes, they can be modified by discarding the egg and the binder. Instead, wrap the patties on wanton or lumpia wrapper, then fold in different ways. As much as possible try not to repeat one dish too many times in a month. Grab recipe books of different dishes, and don’t be afraid to try something new every time.

Varicose veins treatment is necessary because there are many health risks involved. Most women acquire pregnancy varicose veins, due to the extra weight of the baby they carry on their wombs. But usually women take it for granted. Perhaps they do not have any idea that their varicose veins legs is not a simple condition as it looks.
Varicose veins pain could get really bad, and the worst case scenario and complications caused by clotting of the blood in the legs could lead to blockage and swelling, or the blood clot can travel upward and get lodged in the lungs causing respiratory failure. Respiratory failure than can cause death.
Varicose vein may look really bad when they become like spider veins swollen and surfacing from the surface of the skin of your legs. It sometimes looks scary like the veins are about to burst. Some doctors require those patients to go through procedures like laser varicose veins surgery, that are done to prevent the worst possible outcome.
If the varicose vein problem is not yet that worse, there are simple things that can be done to prevent the condition from worsening. Simple varicose veins treatment such as wearing hose stockings to support the veins so the blood won’t remain in the legs, and taking time to relax your legs every now and then. If it is possible, you can lie down with your legs raised, so that the blood will freely flow back. In the evening, prop up your legs on a pillow to support it.
If you are experiencing pregnancy varicose veins, or the simple case of leg varicosities, do not take it for granted. Pay your doctor a visit and ask for the best possible varicose veins treatment, remedy or advice he or she can give you.
