Caring For Anthuriums

One of my favorite flowering plants are Anthuriums, because it takes a long time for them to wither, and they come in different colors. The most common of them are the red coral Anthuriums.

The very first Anthurium plant I had, was a gift from a friend. Anthuriums are one of those not-so-complicated plants that aren’t too delicate and are easy to take care of. However, if you want to improve their growth, there are a few things that you need to know about them.

Anthuriums are plants that require high humidity and above-average amount of water. Watering frequency depends on the condition of the climate in your place, the nature of soil, and the degree of shading.

You may plan Anthuriums in places where there is a balance of sunlight and shade. Excessive sunlight might cause bleaching and yellowing of the leaves. Excessive shade, however, may also slow down growth and flowering. Provide your Anthurium plants, shades that are high enough to permit gentle and freely circulating air.

Anthuriums planted in pots are great indoor plant decors, however you have to make sure to take them out and expose to sunlight equally as it is under the shade.
